Bypass Operations
Bypass 1

Bypass 2

Out of the Way
The planned bypass routes shown in green on the maps above are close to being finalized.
These routes have been planned with consideration on the impact posed by a long-term bypass. As can be seen, the routes as planned will not cross any driveways once placed.
Ideally, there will be virtually zero impact to surrounding and adjacent properties once these bypasses have been successfully installed.
Our bypass will be capable of maintaining full flow of the intercepting sewer that we are relining.
The actual pipe will consist of a 24-inch diameter HDPE pipe about 1 inch thick placed on and secured to the ground. Joined by fusion welding in 50-foot sections, this is a durable and robust solution engineered with safety and reliability in mind.
The bypass pumps, which will be in operation in Meadowbrook Park as well as in the brush behind 690 Chaddick Dr., are sound attenuated pumps. These will be monitored on-site by professionals at all times during operation.
Both of the bypass manifolds will terminate into manholes in and along Hintz Rd.
Bypass 1
This bypass is expected to be installed in late May or early April and last until September or November 2024.
Bypass 2
The second bypass path shown is projected to be implemented August or September 2024 and last until April or May 2026.
